After the snowy weather of the last few days, visiting Jen’s mum and dad’s place in Kenilworth for the weekend. Went out for 50 miles in the glorious sunshine while Sean stayed in Cardiff and got pissed down raining on for his 50 mile ride. Roads are much better up here than South Wales.
Cold one down at the track tonight. Sean stayed in and had a session on his turbo, no doubt at a crazy pace as his knee is feeling better. Mick headed down to plod around at a steady crawl in an effort to just get the legs doing something and cough up some of the cold he’s suffering with.
Had a reply to email sent to Geoff Thomas and will be hopefully getting some helpful pointers from his team to help us organise the big challenge.
Sean’s taking it easy on his skiing war wounded knee so went out alone. Beautiful morning for a ride out via Ogmore Vale, up & over the Bwlch to Cymer & back down to Ponty and home. Looking to do a couple of hours tomorrow morning before going to the Wales v Ireland game.
Website coming together now, looks graet and just sorting out some bugs. Hoping to go live next week and follow up with some press releases. Dave has been working away with Tim, his PR contact and hoping we’re going to get some really good coverage.
Good session tonight but big crowd and was anarchy for a while.
Sean was skiing last week and had a bit of a tumble and has a sore knee and ribs so he took it easy which was surpisingly sensible of him!
